Ivan Sviridov returns from the army and meets with childhood friends Ravil, Markin, Pashula and Ritka. Friends arrange a party for him, at which Ivan meets Mira. However, Uncle Misha has prepared his own plan for his nephew, in which his entire future career has already been thought out for Ivan.
