
Jessica Préalpato, born on 15 September 1986 in Mont-de-Marsan in the Landes region, is a French pastry chef. From 2015 to 2021, she worked at the Plaza Athénée restaurant in Paris, where she was “one of the few female pastry chefs working in a three-Michelin-starred restaurant”. In June 2019, she became the first woman to be crowned “World’s Best Pastry Chef 2019” by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking. In November of the same year, she was named “Pastry Chef of the Year” in the 50th edition of Gault & Millau.
