Duquesa (born Jeysa Ribeiro on May 1, 2000) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in the inland city of Feira de Santana, in the state of Bahia, she began her career at just 15 years old. In 2015, she made her debut collaborating on the track “Só Guardei Pra Mim” by fellow Feira de Santana group Sincronia Primordial. Duquesa went on to pursue music professionally after signing with the Brazilian production company Boogie Naipe. Under the label, she released a series of successful projects, further establishing her as one of the most compelling voices of her generation.
