Shoko Arai (新井 笙子, Arai Shōko, born on May 22) is a Japanese voice actress from Gunma Prefecture. She is 160 cm tall, has blood type A, and is affiliated with talent agency Kenyu Office. She previously belonged to Neverland Arts. Her professional career began in the 2010s, after graduating from the Force Avenue / talk back training program. Her special skills include performing solo musicals, and playing the violin and viola. She speaks the Jōshū dialect of Gunma, and her hobbies include gospel music and watching horror films. Arai has worked across a wide range of anime, video games, live‑action dubbing, international animation, narration, and voice‑over. In February 2025, Arai publicly announced her marriage.
