Clay Conrad was a Memphis-area personality in the late 1970s, notable as the first host of CWA's "Championship Wrestling" show before WHBQ-TV regulars Lance Russell and Dave Brown jumped from Channel 13 WHBQ-TV to Channel 5 WMC-TV in mid-1977.
