Ran Koba (木花 藍, Koba Ran, born on September 25) is a Japanese voice actress (seiyuu) from Shanghai, China. She is affiliated with Ken Production. From an early age, Ran was captivated by Japanese anime, especially when she saw characters speaking Chinese on TV. This sparked her dream of becoming a seiyuu. By the age of 13, she was already composing music and playing piano in a band, which helped refine her artistic sensibility and musical ear. Ran is multilingual, fluent in Mandarin Chinese (both Beijing and Shanghai dialects), Japanese, and English. She also sings and plays the piano. Her hobbies include music composition, video games, solo karaoke, analyzing music by instrument, and Chinese cooking. Although she loves spicy food, she has reduced her intake since committing to voice acting.
