David has come later to acting, previously having a long and successful career as a senior business executive, managing professionals across Europe, the Middle East and Asia including spending nearly 10 years living and working in Shanghai, China. He is married (25 years) to a British-Chinese lady with 3 grown children. Now he has switched career to be a professional background and supporting actor, drawing on 40 years experience of working with people from many cultures, backgrounds and positions. A keen observer, and understanding of people, and what motivates them David is bringing this to his performances. Particularly experienced in playing various characters with positions of influence from right wing politicians, parliamentary aids, period drama upper middle class industrial gents and the odd professional assassin. David is trained in use of Firearms in Film and TV trained, previously being a licensed firearm owner, he retains a high level of fitness being an active veterans league footballer. Onset he is known for being open, professional, adaptable and punctual! Easy to work with. Beside taking paid work David also supports independent and aspiring film makers by donating his time (pro Bono) to support productions.
