Kwecta’mn Pierre is an emerging Indigenous filmmaker residing in British Columbia. He is currently enrolled in Capilano University's Indigenous Digital Filmmaking Program. With one short documentary finished, Insight: An Indigenous Future in Film, about young Indigenous filmmakers’ thoughts on the future of the industry, Kwecta’mn has also completed his first short film Nicky’s Life, a high stakes drama about brothers and murder. Kwecta’mn is also an avid fan of American actor Ethan Hawke and can even recite his 9 minute TED Talk!
