Biography

Sharieff Walters, a San Jose, CA native, embarked on a remarkable journey that led him from a promising football scholarship at Utah State to a thriving acting career. Despite facing academic challenges that altered his path, Sharieff's passion for acting remained unwavering. Following a stint at junior college, Sharieff made a pivotal decision to leave his studies behind and seek enriching life experiences. This led him to the Marine Corps, where he balanced his military duties with his love for acting by participating in theatrical productions. The events of 9/11 propelled Sharieff into two tours of duty in Iraq, an experience that would shape his future endeavors. Upon his honorable discharge from the military, Sharieff relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting dreams in earnest. However, the lingering effects of war trauma manifested as PTSD, prompting his admission to a combat stress program at the VA hospital. Through resilience and dedication, Sharieff completed the program and embarked on a journey towards healing and personal growth. Sharieff's commitment to his craft led him to prestigious institutions such as The American Academy of Arts and the Lee Strasberg Institute, where he honed his skills as an actor. Currently, he continues his artistic education at the esteemed Howard Fine studio, further refining his craft. In addition to his training, Sharieff has made a mark in the film industry with appearances in numerous short films and features, steadily expanding his acting portfolio. Not content with solely performing, Sharieff has ventured into script writing and filmmaking, successfully producing, writing, directing, and starring in several acclaimed short films.
