Bill Nelson is an American actor and executive producer based in Bakersfield. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Dramatics Arts from UC Irvine and a Master of Arts degree in Dramatic Criticism from San Jose State University. He is the owner and creative director of Bill Nelson Media Group. He collaborated with Thomas Russell, a former employee of Bill Nelson Media Group, on three independent film projects: Mental, Mr. Dungbeetle, and Redemption – For Robbing the Dead. Nelson is also Managing Partner of the film production company Firstlight Independent LLC.
