Makes enough pseudo-sense that those who are turned off by absurdism will be able to handle it, but still bizarre enough to get those who are fans of it on board. There might be some odd choices made in characterisation, and it's a far from perfect film, but _Colossal_ works for me in a big way, and I want to see more original material make it like
