Motivated by her recently deceased mother, Cristina, a young woman with musical aspirations, advances to the next stage of her scholarship to study in Italy. To do so, she must attend a personal interview and bring a signed permit from her father. Her father, Ricardo, opposes the idea of her leaving the country before reaching the age of majority. Their conflicting stances will bring to light unresolved issues, which intensified after the death of Pamela, her mother.
