Mira is released from prison and returns to her hometown, where she lives with her alcoholic father in a mobile home. After settling in, Mira finds herself caught up in underworld disputes and money troubles. At the same time, she is forced to confront her own past. Meanwhile, a shady private investigator and his partner try to make a living by questionable means.
