In the 1940's, Japanese soldiers invaded Ningbo, China, destroyed the Chinese school system and set up their own. A young man who grew up in Ningbo did not think that was right, and decided to take matters into his own hands. This is the true story of Sin-Tzu Weng's heroism, his imprisonment and the eventual escape that brings him to America with nothing but his hopes and dreams.
